RenameKing does not collect any of your data. All file processing happens on your device, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Information We Collect
RenameKing does not collect personal information, file names or contents, usage data (analytics) or crash reports. The app has no features that connect to the internet.
Information Stored on Your Device
To work, the app stores the following on your device (on Mac, in ~/Library/Application Support/RenameKing/). None of it is sent off your device.
- App settings, presets, find/replace history and favorite folders
- A record of the last operation, so it can be undone
- The folders you have granted access to (Mac App Store version)
You can erase this information at any time by deleting the app’s settings folder.
File Access
RenameKing reads the names, dates and tag information (such as capture dates or song titles) of the files and folders you open, solely to rename them or perform the operations you choose.
Sharing with Third Parties
Because we collect no information, we have nothing to share with third parties.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the update on this page.
