I freed up space, but my free space didn't go up right away
Deleted photos and files stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, so they still take up space during that time. To free the space right away, delete them from Recently Deleted in the Photos or Files app. iOS may also take a while to update the free space it reports.
How do I get deleted photos back?
Open the Photos app and go to Recently Deleted under Utilities (within 30 days of deleting). Files can be restored from Recently Deleted in the Files app. KeepSpace's History also shows you how.
Does “Offload to free up” delete my files?
No. It removes only the copy on your iPhone of files stored in iCloud Drive. The files stay in iCloud Drive and download again when you open them.
What happens to photos and videos when I shrink them?
KeepSpace creates new, smaller photos or videos and carries over the date, location, favorite status and more. The originals move to Recently Deleted and can be recovered for 30 days.
Some photos don't show up as suggestions
Favorites, recent photos, photos with people and photos from trips and events are protected, so they are never suggested. You can change this in the Safe List. If you gave KeepSpace limited photo access, choose Full Access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
What can I do for free?
You can use every feature to free up a total of 1 GB. Storage overview, forecast, widgets, alerts, Prepare and Safe List stay free forever.
I got a new iPhone. How do I restore my purchase?
In KeepSpace, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchase. You need to be signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it.
I don't get free-space alerts
Turn on “Free space alerts” in KeepSpace's Settings and allow notifications. Alerts are sent at most once every few days, for example when space is running low.
