Privacy Policy

ZipICE does not collect any of your data. All compression and extraction happens on your Mac, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Information We Collect

ZipICE does not collect personal information, file names or contents, usage data (analytics) or crash reports. The app has no features that connect to the internet.

Passwords

Passwords you set or enter for archives are used only to process those archives. So you don’t have to enter them again for the same archive, they are kept in memory while the app is open, but they are never written to disk and are discarded when you quit the app.

Information Stored on Your Mac

To work, the app stores its settings and the folders you have granted access to on your Mac. None of it is sent off your Mac.

File Access

ZipICE reads and writes the files and archives you drop or choose, solely to compress, extract or perform the operations you choose.

Sharing with Third Parties

Because we collect no information, we have nothing to share with third parties.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the update on this page.
